Keemun is considered one of the two or three best teas in the world.
It is the only sub-variety of the tea plant in which an essential oil called myrcenal is found. Myrcenal also occurs in Bay Leaves, and it is believed it is this oil that gives Keemun its indescribable sweetness.
This Mao Feng variety has pointed leaves and down-covered, unopened buds and is more mellow than a Hao Ya A with a softer sweetness.
